Hi, I’m Paula Marks, creator and founder of Hali Boho Co.
For me, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of walking into a home filled with heartfelt ambience: The sweet scents of a beachy day, warm sunny lighting, and the inspiring colours of nature. Your home should be a dream haven and a holiday destination all wrapped in one.
Hali Boho Co began as the seed of a creative dream many years ago. I started out by hand-picking beautiful home décor and hippie style creations to help people fall in love with their home as much as I loved mine, and I wanted to make this dream accessible for anyone’s budget.
Over the years, this seed has grown into an online homewares boutique with a wide range of beautiful home décor and fashion accessories to warm the soul and inspire people to live their best, beach-inspired life.
Uplifting touches of boho love
As a child, creating beautiful things to uplift our humble home was my passion. There was something about putting sweet things on display for the world – to brighten up a space – that really lit me up.
We didn’t have a lot of money so I found ways to make things more pretty or creative. I would hand-make photo frames out of cardboard, scraps of timber and pieces of colourful fabric. You can read more about my story on the blog.
As the years grew, I turned my love of creative homewares into sewing, crotchet, painting, not to mention over a decade working in creative and fashion retail – adding skills to my repertoire like merchandising and colour-blocking.
I’ve now honed my creative passions and merchandising expertise into something that can uplift others – from my heart to yours.
